As a kid of adoption we age and our narrative shifts from the 'why' of the past to the 'how' of the present. I use photography to capture the overlooked, unseen, often invisible attempts to grasp at belonging and  self identity when your roots feel  like a total mystery. These images are for those of us who have lived a lifetime in the 'in-between,' offering a visual language for the parts of us that words can't quite reach.
